Professor Gary Macpherson is a consultant forensic clinical psychologist, visiting professor in psychology and law, and fellow of the British Psychological Society. With more than 30 years’ experience in forensic mental health, Professor Macpherson provides expert evidence in criminal, civil, family and regulatory proceedings throughout the United Kingdom and internationally, including in notable and reported cases.

He is registered as an expert with the Law Society of Scotland, has provided expert evidence to courts, governments, tribunals and public bodies, and serves as an expert to the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
